BCI Returns to Ballantrae, WOW What a Terrific Place It Still Is!

So after a much too long an absence, we finally got back to our favorite venue in the area Saturday, Ballantrae Country Club, (now called the Santa Lucia River Club at Ballantrae) but the locals all call it just Ballantrae.   Always our favorite, Saturday reminded us of why in a big way!  Carol and her staff had the place looking wonderful with help from Jade at Island Party Rentals who had the ceiling draped for dramatic effect. Barbara from Country Club Florists did her thing on the bouquets, and every detail was gone over; but the real superstar is of course the setting.  Steps from the riverside, with a nice cool breeze blowing, is such an amazing place to tie the knot.  Once we got them officially married, we worked the property for some romantics, and while the real sunset kind of fizzled….the afterglow was truly grand.  Winding up over on the 18th green in the twilight, we had just enough light to make some killer shots when the colors really popped out in the sky ever so briefly.   Then it was back inside where Eclipse Entertainment took over and had them partying all night long.
