So after a much too long an absence, we finally got back to our favorite venue in the area Saturday, Ballantrae Country Club, (now called the Santa Lucia River Club at Ballantrae)<\/a> but the locals all call it just Ballantrae.\u00a0\u00a0 Always our favorite, Saturday reminded us of why in a big way!\u00a0 Carol and her staff had the place looking wonderful with help from Jade at Island Party Rentals who had the ceiling draped for dramatic effect. Barbara from Country Club Florists<\/a> did her thing on the bouquets, and every detail was gone over; but the real superstar is of course the setting.\u00a0 Steps from the riverside, with a nice cool breeze blowing, is such an amazing place to tie the knot.\u00a0 Once we got them officially married, we worked the property for some romantics, and while the real sunset kind of fizzled….the afterglow was truly grand.\u00a0 Winding up over on the 18th green in the twilight, we had just enough light to make some killer shots when the colors really popped out in the sky ever so briefly.\u00a0\u00a0 Then it was back inside where Eclipse Entertainment took over and had them partying all night long.<\/h3>\n
