Evening Wedding at Deerfield Wyndham

Slight road trip Saturday as our bride and groom chose to head south to Deerfield Beach to tie the knot on the beach at the Wyndham Hotel at the pier. Sadly, there is an utter lack of beach venues here on the Treasure Coast, but hopefully that will change as a couple of these sorts of resorts come to our area. Oddly, the Wyndham wont let couples have their wedding until 7pm, which is too bad as by that time, the sun is so far down its really not even visible. That beach, is so busy, that even in the early evening hours, there were literally hundreds of people scattering the beaches and surrounding area making this anything but an intimate ceremony. None of that seemed to matter to our couple however, as they made their way across the street and onto the beach for their ceremony. Weddings by Rachel served not only as officiant, but also coordinated the entire event which was no small feat. After the wedding, we played around on the beach and near the pier, before running totally out of light (and time hahahaha) so we darted across the traffic and into the hotel for the reception. Greeting us there was a very unusual and cool wedding cake from Cakes by Michelle. I hadn’t ever seen one quite like that before, and it was the talk of the staff as well. The couple partied all night, and then I’m told they headed to Flanigans to enjoy even more revelry into the wee hours. Funny thing, the banquet manager sat with the wedding coordinator Rachel and us for dinner.  She remarked at how us “Treasure Coast vendors” were so fantastic to work with and asked if there was any way she could get some of our images in say…. 3 weeks.  Rachel and I busted out laughing, and she looked on puzzled.  I said, well, how’s Monday….to which her jaw dropped.  I just smiled and said, all our wedding are posted the Monday after every week;  that’s just how we roll.  The next question was even better.  “I guess digital has just made it so easy”.  So…fighting the sarcastic comeback, I again smiled and replied, well, photographer have all been digital for what 10 years now right?  And….you still have to wait 3wks (by your very question) plus to see the image from most photographers right?  Maybe…it’s not the fact that it was “digital” that’s the difference 😀 😀 😀 Anyway, you can enjoy some of our favorites below, and of course you can check out the whole lot by clicking on their little thumbnail on the right hand side of the page.===>>
