Jacksonville Mini-Destination Wedding

Got to travel up to Jax this weekend to shoot a fun wedding at One Ocean Resort on Atlantic Beach.  Its a great hotel in the midst of Atlantic Beach’s pubs and restaurants, and affords an outdoor patio style option if so desired as we had yesterday.  The patio is nice, but would have been MUCH nicer had it been facing the ocean rather than the street imo.  The art deco interior designs gave us some cool shots in the lobby, and then it was on the beach for the ceremony.  Thing is…they kind of forgot about that whole “tide thing” and originally set up everything in a spot that was soon to be under a foot of water.   Even after moving everything back, the waters were lapping at the feet of the bridal party by the time the ceremony had concluded.   Once officially hitched, the party moved to the patio area where a cool Jimmy Buffet style band called The Caribbean Chillers kept the island flavor flowing all night long.
