You never know what to expect on NY Eve weddings. This one was no exception, even though we did her sisters wedding a couple years ago. After starting off at the house for getting ready shots, we scooted over to the church to get em hitched! Even though it was really dark inside, we got some terrific stuff; taking full advantage of the newer photo technology like the Nikon 400mm 2.8VRII and the Nikon D3s which allowed us to shoot this wedding under the restrictions on which we were placed. A couple years ago….the shots would have been much more limited, and not of the same quality. Once they were officially wed, we headed over to The Hyatt Pier 66, where the top of the tower room (which revolves btw) played host for the party. The band played great hits all night and as the couple rang in the new year, everyone had a great time. You can see all the pix HERE, but below are some of our favorites.
