Well, they call it the House of Refuge, because it was just that, a safe refuge from the storm for sailors back in the 1800’s. Considering the wind, all 30+mph of it that was blowing for Christina and Mikes big day ceremony, it seemed a fitting site for their big day. It was a gorgeous day…and a gorgeous bride, but the winds were howling!! Christina was a trooper and didnt let it bother her in the least; in fact she laughed and laughed her way through what most would have found a tough situation. Frequently our mental picture of a beach wedding doesnt quite match the reality that follows. After the ceremony, they zipped back over to River Palms Cottages via a stretch from Cobblestone Limo. Once we got settled in at River Palms, DJ Ronnie from Paragon Entertainment emceed the evenings events and kept everyone partying right up till quitting’ time despite a few power issues!!. Now its a happy jaunt down to the Keys for some well earned R&R for Mike and Christina!! Congrats again guys!!
