Rainy day wedding at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Bch

Even the best made plans…..as they say; can go astray, was never more true then at yesterdays wedding at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Bch. There ceremony was planned to be out on the lawn, but mother nature had other plans. Danae and Alex had their “good luck” charm in buckets as rain fell throughout the evening forcing their ceremony inside. The silver lining to this storm was: that inside was a beautiful candlelit ceremony that was surely every bit as nice as what the outdoor version might have been. So after a little shuffling, ceremony and all took place in the ballroom. Thats what being a professional wedding photographer is all about, adaptability. You absolutely never know exactly what scenario you will be facing; so you must be prepared for anything. We showed up expecting an outdoor ceremony, and ended up virtually in the dark, shooting by only candlelight; yet the results still are amazing…….That sort of challenge is just another of the many reasons I love my job!!! Solving that puzzle each week and delivering the goods regardless of the situation is very satisfying. (I know some people think thats crazy, but I love a challenge). Still, Danae looked stunning in her dress, and Alex had his breath taken away for sure!!!  Feel free to pass this link along to family and friends, and please share any comments you may have below too!!
